Laminated Siding for Top Performance
Our laminated siding offers the same “no warping, no twisting, no cracking” characteristics as our laminated logs. That’s because, for all practical purposes, the siding is made from laminated beams. We start by laminating two kiln-dried 2x8 or 2x10 lam beam specification boards together, hand picking the most aesthetically pleasing surface for what will be the visible exterior of the siding. The outside lamination is then milled to the desired profile, while the back lamination acts as a stiffener that locks the profiled exterior in place. The nominal 2” thickness adds thermal mass to the siding and the wide bearing surface provides a convenient place to hide fasteners. Matching laminated log butt and pass corners and laminated trim are available.
If you are looking for the straightest, strongest, most crack resistant wood siding available, our laminated siding is the answer.
