Interior Paneling To Match Any of Our Logs...
It's not unusual for modern log homes to combine solid and framed construction. With that in mind, we now offer interior paneling to match the interior profiles and stack heights of all our logs.

Matching paneling is the perfect solution for covering the interior of framed gables, dormers, or walls that butt up to exterior log walls. It's also great for application on accent walls. The rounded patterns are often used to give a traditional log cabin look to the interior of framed structures.
T & G Paneling...
If there's one product where extremely dry wood, tight knots, and superior milling is essential, it's paneling. That's because it is most often used on the inside of homes where people expect nearly perfect surfacing and where dry winter conditions can cause wood to shrink. All of our paneling is precision milled to a furniture-like finish and features wood that averages 12% moisture content. Most common uses for paneling are for covering interior framed walls and for creating vaulted wooded ceilings on scissor trusses. Paneling is also used as interior wainscotting. Exterior applications include porch ceilings and boxing in sofits.
T & G Decking...
T&G Decking is primarily used on open beam ceilings and lofts. Like paneling it has to be extremely dry and stable. Because it is usually applied to one of the dominant design elements of a home, it also has to look good. That's why we hand trim every piece on two foot centers and remove end checks and other visibly defective material and why we place our T&G decking just a bit thinner that most mills. Each board looks and feels like it's been hand sanded. Builders who try our decking always end up using it exclusively.

Deck Material...
This has got to be the most inconspicuous profile we've ever milled! On the surface it looks just like a piece of square milled stock, but closer inspection shows that a slight crown has been milled onto the wood. The crown is only one-sixteenth of an inch higher than the edges, but that's enough to effectively shed water on an exterior deck. Standing water and ultraviolet radiation are the two biggest enemies of horizontal wood surfaces like decks. Our deck material coupled with a protective wood finish can provide a one-two knockout punch to deck problems.
Log Cabin Trim...
By their nature, log home owners tend to live in places where views can be spectacular. So, it's only natural that many log homes feature extensive or unique window treatments.

That's probably the reason why so many of our customers asked us to create a log cabin trim that could be used to accent window and door openings while complementing their logs. There's almost always enough room on an outbound shipment to include log cabin trim on the truck, so more and more customers are adding it to their orders.
Laminated Decking...
Over the years we've had recurring requests for a "two-sided" T&G Decking that can be used effectively on lofts in situations where a home owner wants an exposed wood floor and widely spaced floor joists. With that in mind, we've created a double tongue and groove laminated pine decking that's glued and milled from the same materials used in our laminated logs. It's the perfect answer for someone who wants a rock solid pine floor in a loft. Lam decking is also used by people who want to combine the R-Value of insulated frame construction with the thermal mass characteristics of solid wood construction. By applying wood siding to the exterior of the home and lam decking to the interior, the customer gets the best of both worlds.
