Log Cabin Siding Transforms Mobile Home
Log cabin siding is becoming a more and more popular way to give existing homes a whole new look. That's what Mary and Tom Hubbard had in mind when they stopped by our office in response to an ad we had placed in a local newspaper. They had a beautiful scenic location and wanted to make their mobile home blend into the local surroundings. Like most people who visit our office, they left with an armload of samples and headed home to figure out alternatives that appealed to them.
They settled on our standard 7.3" pine siding. Working on their own on evenings and weekends, the Hubbards transformed a spartan looking double wide into a home that looks just like a log cabin. They were so pleased with the results that they took the time to share a few Before & After Pictures with us.
The results achieved by the Hubbards, and their kind comments about the siding they bought from us, comprise a story that is repeated over and over again each year.
What started out as an experiment to sell siding locally has expanded into a national program and now a hundred or more homes are remodelled with our log cabin siding nationwide each year. That's because the results on remodel jobs are dramatic and people feel like they are moving into brand new homes.
If you need to match or complement an existing log building or need to find a fast and economical method for giving a log look to framed structures, one of our log cabin siding patterns may be the solution. As a reference point, the siding used to convert the Hubbard's home to the log cabin look cost around $3,500.
