Xtra Thick Siding -- Interior Application

Make any room look like a log home!

Paneling used as Pine Wood Floor
It's not unusual for clients to use exterior siding for interior applications. In this case, extra thick pine siding with splines has been applied to simulate a log cabin interior.  Add paneling to the vaulted ceiling and hardwood to the floor and the effect is complete.  (Photo courtesy of Wayne Luther Construction)

Paneling, Wood Floor
Keeping the "Western White  Wood" theme, Ponderosa Pine Paneling was used on the ceiling. Kiln-dried to 12% moisture content, the paneling holds up very well to dry Wisconsin Winter air. Looking through the sliding glass doors, and onto the deck, lodgepole railing is also visible.
Pine Floor made from Wood Paneling
A cultured stone 'river rock' fireplace is framed by xtra thick pine siding. Sit back. Watch the gentle glow, and feel the warmth of burning birch logs and you'll be convinced you're in a traditional log cabin.
