We use the term "Log Home Look-Alike" a lot, but never has it been more appropriate than with our half log hand peeled siding. Full sawn 3x8" Engelman Spruce and Lodgepole Pine is first milled to ensure dimensional consistency and is then hand peeled to add texture. The resulting siding is a virtual match in curvature to a full round 8" diameter handcrafted home. Butt and pass log corner extensions, rustic fir fascia, and a lodgepole pine rail package make this California framed home indistinguishable from a traditional framed home.

The great care taken in the drying, milling, and trimming of the siding is apparent in the installation. It's no accident that the siding is straight and true, easy to install, and virtually crack free.

You can expect your siding to arrive just like this. Each piece is hand trimmed to remove visibly defective material. Then the siding is bundled in high quality, UV resistant plastic that protects it from the elements during shipping and prior to installation. Most clients prefer to coat the siding with a high quality exterior finish prior to installation.
