Xtra Thick Siding
Thicker Siding for a More Authentic Log Home Look

Xtra Thick Siding Profile, Log Cabin SidingIf you placed a home built from traditional milled logs next to a framed structure that has been finished with our extra thick siding, you’d be hard pressed to tell them apart. That’s because our extra thick siding features a slightly thicker, more rounded, and more symmetrical pattern that looks even more authentic than standard siding. A slot is milled into the top and bottom edges of each piece of extra thick siding to accept splines, which are shipped along with the siding. The splines affix individual courses of siding to each other, giving the strong impression of two logs butting directly against each other. Should you choose matching log corners for this siding, they are rounded on both sides to further enhance the authentic look of the application.

A symmetrical round pattern and tight fitting splined joints used on extra thick siding make this framed structure indistinguishable from a log home.
